Frequently asked questions (FAQ)


Basically, all tickets are sent as so-called online tickets in .pdf format. These can be printed out or shown on your smartphone as a .pdf document at the entrance (no screenshots). Please note that the QR code on the tickets must be legible (not bent, display not broken). 

Unfortunately, tickets cannot be returned. Automatic processes ensure that the seats you have selected are bindingly reserved immediately after you have sent your order.

Please note the following legal regulation:

Ticket orders are not subject to the Distance Selling Act.Section 312 b (3) no. 6 of the German Civil Code (BGB) stipulates that the Act does not apply to contracts for the provision of services in the field of leisure activities, which also includes concerts.

This means that a two-week right of cancellation and return is excluded.

If you no longer need your tickets, you can pass them on to family/ friends/ acquaintances. The tickets may not be sold at a profit, i.e. the original purchase price may not be exceeded.

The purchased tickets may not be used commercially for raffles and prize draws.

In principle, every visitor needs a valid ticket. There are no reduced ticket prices. Accompanying persons of wheelchair users are admitted free of charge. In this case, an admission ticket is not required for the accompanying person.

Group discounts are unfortunately not possible.

In principle, every visitor needs a valid ticket. There are no reduced ticket prices. Children under the age of 6 are generally admitted free of charge. Due to the increased volume level, the event is not suitable for children without hearing protection. We therefore strongly recommend hearing protection for children.

We would also like to point out that adolescents under 16 years of age can only be admitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

For admission regulations regarding age restrictions, we refer to the Youth Protection Act. Children under 16 years of age may only be admitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adolescents over 16 years of age may be admitted to the event until the official end of the event (00.00 hrs). The serving of alcoholic beverages is also governed by the Youth Protection Act.

Furthermore, we would like to point out that the event is not suitable for children without hearing protection due to the increased volume level. For this reason, we strongly recommend the use of hearing protection.

Please check the completeness of your tickets and meal vouchers against your order no later than 7 days after receipt and report any differences to your order as soon as you become aware of them.

It is not possible to send you a replacement if your ticket is lost. Tickets are valuable items and must be treated accordingly. If tickets are stolen, please contact vorverkauf@pichmaennel-oktoberfest.de">vorverkauf@pichmaennel-oktoberfest.de immediately. Our Pichmännel Oktoberfest office will then try to prevent strangers from using the ticket.

The ticket is not valid as a public transport ticket. However, it is still possible to get to the festival grounds in comfort. For further information, please refer to the section "HOW TO FIND US".

The inscription on the ticket may not be made unrecognisable. However, it is possible to stick a removable sticker over the ticket. The tickets should not be bent at the point of the QR code to ensure its readability. Please keep your tickets in a safe place.

Usually, damaged / lost tickets cannot be replaced.

Table tickets include admission and stay in the marquee and reservation of the table for the event evening (except for strolling tickets).

Please note that meal vouchers are not included.
Consumption vouchers can only be purchased at the event.
